Buhari confers Rotimi Ibidapo with national award
The national president of the federal polytechnic, Adó-Èkìtì Alumni Association, Mr. Oyedokun Abiodun has felicitated with Dr. Rotimi Ibidapo, as he is being conferred today, with the exalted national award of officer of the order of the Niger, OON, by President Muhamadu Buhari.
In a statement signed on behalf of the chairman governing council of the polytechnic, Akogun Iyiola Oyedepo, the rector, Dr. Dayo Oladebeye and the national executive council of the institution’s alumni association, Mr. Abiodun described Dr. Ibidapo as a noble alumnus and thoroughbred professional, with enviable academic records.
According to the statement, the OON award recipient is a philanthropist and a notable Nigerian committed to the growth and development of his community, state and country, through his job creation and humanitarian projects and programmes, which has in no small measure, impacted numerous lives and establishments, positively.
Born in September 1963 in Owo, Ondo state, and happily married to Erelu Remilekun, Dr. Rotimi Benjamin Ibidapo holds a higher national diploma, HND in marketing from the federal polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti; an executive master of business administration from the metropolitan school of business and management, United Kingdom and a doctor of science in business administration, from the achievers university, Owo, Ondo state.
