Osun Election: INEC begins distribution of sensitive materials

The Independent National Electoral Commission in Osun state has distributed sensitive materials for the Saturday’s gubernatorial election in the state.

The materials were distributed to the electoral officers under the heavy presence of security operatives at the inec office in osogbo,the state capital.

Also present at the inec office for the distribution were journalists,party agents ,election observers among others.

Some of the sensitive material distributed were bimodal voters accreditation system machine,ballot papers,result sheets,forms EC 4zero,4zero G1 and G2.

While Speaking the resident electoral commissioner of inec in the state prof Abdulganiy Raji said the distributed materials will be taken to the registration area centres in the local government areas in the state to prevent it’s late arrivals to polling units on saturday.

Prof Raji hinted that the result sheet is customised according to each polling units.

The REC noted that all is set to conduct a free, fair and credible election, urging all stakeholders to embrace and promote peace.

Some of the party agents present commended inec on the distribution process.
