Super Falcons technical adviser Randy Waldrum says Nigerians especially women football lovers should expect a tough game this evening when his team lockhorns with Atlas Lioness of Mali

Randy who spoke with newsmen at the team’s hotel in Victoria island said there are no pushovers in African football anymore

He said as professionals his players are aware of the importance of the tournament and will sure deliver but winning the tournament isn’t a top priority.

Nigeria will play Mali this evening at the Mobolaji Johnson stadium Onikan by 4pm.

Meanwhile, Vice President Nigeria football federation , bar Seyi Akinwunmi has said now is the time for parents to see football as a career and stakeholders should run football administration like a business

Seyi Akinwunmi in a chat with Adaba Fm’s Michael Akintunde said footballers both in Africa and Europe are changing the narratives and belief of parents who doesn’t see anything good when their kids play football.

The Lagos state Football Association chairman opined that parents have a bigger role to play in developing football in the country.

He said parents now see their kids as future football stars because they can read and see the achievements of super falcons players and others

He said the Aisha Buhari soccer tourney marks 30 years of women football in Nigeria hence the need to celebrate it big
