Police parade 5 suspects over various crimes in Ekiti

The Ekiti State Police Command has paraded five suspects alleged to have been involved in various crimes in the state in recent times, including a fake police inspector.

The Command’s Commissioner of Police, Mr Tunde Mobayo, represented by its Public Relations Officer, Sunday Abutu, while parading the suspects before the newsmen in Ado-Ekiti explained that men of his command on 6th of August, 2021 arrested one Femi Ogunwusi along Efon Alaye road during stop and search.

He added that the suspect during interrogation claimed to be a Police Officer, but was later discovered to be a fake Policeman.

The Police also paraded another suspect, Femi Akinola for allegedly specializes in providing information to Kidnappers terrorising Ilejemeje Local Government Area of the State and for participated actively sometimes in the alleged crime.

Some of the suspects in an interview with newsmen confessed to the commission of the crime, while some others denied it.
