Ondo govt donates thousands of rodenticide to Owo residence

Ondo state government has donated about ten thousand pieces of rodenticide to the people of Owo to commence the 2020 sensitization on eradication of Lassa fever.

The Rat killer was distributed at the popular Mapo hall as well as the Federal medical center, Owo.

Acting commissioner for health Jibayo Adeyeye said all the 18 local government areas of Ondo state will benefit from the gesture.

Adeyeye noted that Owo was chosen first because of the high record of the disease in the past.

The chief medical director of FMC, Owo Linus Ahmed describe the program as timely as the dry season sets in.

Earlier, the commissioner and his team had visited the Olowo of Owo Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye.
