Rivers govt gives out quarters to 12 judges
The Rivers state government has commissioned a befitting judges quarters, as part of efforts to encourage dedication to a better delivery of justice in the state.
Governor of the state, Nyesom Wike said the gesture would afford judicial officers in the state accommodation even after retirement.
Wike hinted that the 60 billion naira project also operates a buy back policy for judges who would want to sell off their buildings to the state in future.
At the event, twenty 4-bedroom duplexes were commissioned as well as the presentation of certificates of occupancy to 12 judges, who have opted for the houses.
