Katsina govt slashes 2020 budget by 20 percent
The Katsina state government has slashed the 2020 budget of 240 billion naira by 30 percent.
This is in line with the present economic realities presented by the ravaging global pandemic otherwise called COVID-19.
Commissioner of budget and economic planning, Faruk Lawal Jobe briefed newsmen on the development in Katsina after the state executive council meeting presided over by the governor, Aminu Bello Masari.
In a similar move, the federal government had earlier reviewed its budget from the oil benchmark of 57 dollars per barrel to 30 dollars per barrel
