Nigerian army wants rehabilitation of North East roads
The chief of army staff, Lt. General Tukur Buratai wants the federal government to concentrate more on rehabilitation of roads in the north-east.
Buratai observed that bad roads formed the major causes of insurgency and other criminal activities.
The army chief noted that poor infrastructure is hindering the fight against terrorism in the north east.
Lt General Buratai called on the private sector to assist in repairing the North East roads.
