Governor Fayemi sets templates for self-reliance among Ekiti youths

The governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi has urged youths in the state to be visionary and committed to technological advancement and vocational skills development as the right direction towards job creation.

Fayemi made the disclosure while declaring a three day Ekiti entrepreneurship week 2019 open in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital.

The governor implored the youths to seek information and always key into the empowerment and entrepreneurship programmes of the government.

He assured them that his administration would sustain its commitment to the provision of an enabling environment for the pursuit of technical and vocational skills development to fast-track development.

On his part, the state commissioner for investment, trade and industries, David Olusoga said the Ekiti entrepreneurship week would turn job seekers in the state to employers of labour.

The Ekiti entrepreneurship week is expected to feature talent hunt, exhibition and financial empowerment.
