Fayemi promises to reposition Ekiti state civil service

The governor of Ekiti state, Dr Kayode Fayemi says his administration would leave no stone unturned to reposition the civil service for better service delivery.

Fayemi made the disclosure while swearing in newly appointed permanent secretaries in Ado Ekiti, the state capital.

The governor was represented by his deputy, Bisi Egbeyemi

He said the success of government’s policies and programmes depends largely on the functionality of the civil service.

He urged the new permanent secretaries to see their elevations as a call to service and do their best to justify the confidence reposed in them

One of the new permanent secretaries, Ayokunle Alokan who spoke on behalf of other lauded the state government for their appointments

With the appointment of the 4 new permanent secretaries, the Fayemi administration has appointed twenty-one permanent secretaries since he assumed office on October 16, 2018.
