Plane crash kills five in Ukraine
An antonov-12 transport plane crash-landed near LVIV airport in western Ukraine on Friday, killing at least five people.
Ukraine’s infrastructure minister, Vladislav Krikliy said the plane ran out of fuel before a planned stopover at LVIV, en route from Vigo in Spain to Istanbul.
The plane was scheduled to refuel in LVIV.
The emergencies ministry said the plane had a crew of seven, and one other person was escorting the cargo.
It is not clear what the cargo was.
