Motorists decry deplorable state of Ilara Mokin axis of Akure-Ilesha road

Motorists plying the Akure-Ilesha road are currently expressing hardship on the Ilara-Ero axis of the road due to its deplorable state.

The section of the road has failed thereby leading to gridlock, crashes and heavy-duty vehicles falling off or sinking.

The motorists expressed the challenges they face plying the road daily and appealed to the federal government to urgently fix the failed portion of the road before it is completely cut off.

Efforts to reach the federal controller of works in charge of Ondo and the federal road maintenance agency proved abortive.

Meanwhile, Ondo state commissioner for works, Raimi Aminu did not answer calls put across to him or call back.
