Ondo South APC leaders strategize on party’s unity ahead of polls

APC leaders in Ondo South Senatorial District have resolved to support all candidates of the party in the area in the general elections.

The Ondo South Senatorial Chairman of the Party, Dr. Ayodeji Oyedele said the decision was reached after the party leaders met in Akure.

Oyedele added that the resolution was in line with the directive of President Muhammadu Buhari, asking them to work for all the candidate of the party.

The South-West Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Chief Olusola Oke said the party cannot afford to go to the polls with a divided house.

Chief Oke expressed optimism that Ondo State will be delivered for APC.

Also speaking, the executive Director of Niger Delta Power Holding Company of Nigeria, Ife Oyedele said the APC has delivered on its campaign promises to deserve a second term.

APC leaders present at the meeting were the South-West Director General of APC Presidential Campaign Council, Chief Olusola Oke, Ondo South Senatorial Chairman of the party, Dr. Ayodeji Oyedele, deputy state chairman of the party, Agabra Atili, Ife Oyedele and political appointees from the area.
