Police parade 11 Suspected armed robbery syndicates in Osun

The Osun state police command have paraded eleven suspects for various criminal offences

While parading the suspects at the command headquaters in Osogbo, the deputy commissioner of police in the state Hope Okafor said the suspects were arrested at different sting of operations.

Some of those parade were eight armed robbery gang terrorizing the Ijesha Axis of the state.

According to Okafor the suspects burgled two houses in Erin Ijesha simultaneously and carted away properties worth millions of naira.

She added that exhibits recovered from them include a Toyota Corolla car, a Toyota Highlander, eight bags of dry cocoa beans, one Bajaj motorcycle, phones and gold jewelries.

Paraded alongside the armed robbery suspects were car theft syndicates operating along Osunjela /Ilesha Road of the state

One of the suspects Sunday Ogbemudia confessed to the crime.

The deputy commissioner of police noted that the suspects will be charged to court after the completion of investigations
