One Year In Office: Governor Adeleke reels out achievements

Osun state Governor senator Ademola Adeleke has reeled out the achievements of his administration in the last one year.

Governor Adeleke while briefing newsmen on his achievements so far said since the inception of his administration, he has been focusing on human and infrastructural development.

Represented by the commissioner for information and public enlightenment Kolapo Alimi, the Governor expressed confidence that before the end of his administration, Osun state will be the cynosure of other states.

He explained that despite paucity of funds, the state within a year has recorded huge successes in the health sector, agricultural, transportation, rural development, education, and welfarism of the people.

The Governor noted that as part of his agenda and campaign promises, the state government has rehabilitated some urban and rural roads, rehabilitation of three Hundred and thirty two primary health centres, enrollment of three thousand osun citizens and nineteen thousand pensioners into the free health insurance scheme.

But a member of APC in the state and a former Special Adviser to the former Governor Gboyega Oyetola ,Jamiu Olawumi said Governor Adeleke has not done something tangible for the past one year.

Although there is no activities to mark the first year anniversary of the governor as he is presently out of the country for medical checkup.
