Deputy gov., Ayedatiwa lauds DAWN commission initiatives in fast-tracking development in Ondo

Ondo state Acting Governor, Lucky Orímìísàn Ayédatiwa says creating transportation infrastructures through rail and energy will bring strong and amiable synergy between the six states of the southern region.

Aiyedatiwa made this known during the South West Investment Promotion Agency conference (IPA 2.0) with the theme, Infrastructure for increased productivity in the southwest.

He lauded the DAWN commission for its initiatives emphasizing on concerted efforts to fast track development in the region.

The director general of DAWN commission, Mr. Oluseye Oyeleye said transportation and power are the major pillars of sustainable development.

In his speech, the Director General of Ondo State Development and Investment Promotion Agency (ONDIPA), Mr. Femi Àkárákirì says it is the dream of the agency to create an avalanche of job opportunities to grow Oǹdó state, and in turn impact other neighboring states.

The conference focused on attracting regional investment into power sector and railway transportation.
