Oyebanji marks 100 days in office as Ekiti governor

Ekiti State governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has given an account of Stewardship of his administration within the first 100 days.

Oyebanji in a special stakeholders engagement in Ado Ekiti to commemorate the first 100 days in office said that his administration had started fulfilling his campaign promises.

The governor highlighted some of the achievements including intervention in the health sector, intervention on Education, human capital development, renovation of Ado Township roads and dilapidated buildings at the state secretariat.

Governor Oyebanji stressed that he’s committed to investing on infrastructural projects that would contribute to the development of the state.

He however solicited the support of all stakeholders in the quest for the development of Ekiti State.

Meanwhile, Stakeholders in the state have described the achievements of Governor Biodun Oyebanji in his first 100days in office as unprecedented.

Those who speak at the stakeholders engagement to mark the anniversary said that the little time spent by governor Oyebanji in office has brought development to the state despite the meagre resource available in the state.

The state NLC Chairman Mr Kolapo Olatunde and others who spoke at the event said that governor Oyebanji prioritized the welfare of the workers and had imapcted all spheres of governance within the period.

Others who spoke at the event including artisans, Markets women and persons with disabilities said that the governor had operated an all inclusive government that cut across all sectors.

Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji took the oath of office on October the 16, 2022 after been declared winner of the June 18th governorship election in Ekiti state.
