Oyebanji vows to prioritise judicial officers’ welfare in Ekiti

Governor Biodun Abayomi-Oyebanji of Ekiti State has promised that the condition of courts and the welfare of judicial officers in the state will be a priority for his government.

Oyebanji also reiterated his commitment to effective administration of justice.

The governor was speaking at the inauguration of a state-of-the-art High Court complex built by a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Chief Wole Olanipekun, in Ikere Ekiti.

The governor described Olanipekun as a man committed to giving back to the society, while calling on other notable indigenes of Ekiti State to join hands with his government in bringing the desired development to the state.

The donor, Chief Wole Olanipekun, said the gesture was aimed at salvaging the deplorable state of some of the dilapidated structures, particularly in Ikere Judicial Division.

He added that the court building was a modern one with all facilities that will ease the work of judges and judicial officers in the division.
