Aregbesola orders dissolution of APC faction in Osun

The minister of interior Rauf Aregbesola has ordered the dissolution of The Osun Progressives (TOP) a factional group within the All Progressives Congress in Osun state

One of the leaders of the group who is also a former speaker of the state house of assembly Najeem Salam made the announcement at a press conference held in Osogbo the Osun state capital.

It would be recalled that the group led by the minister of interior Rauf Aregbesola is known for criticizing the then incumbent Governor Gboyega Oyetola and his government.

Salam hinted that members of the caucus are back into the party’s mainstream , calling on All Progressives minded individuals to join efforts at rebuilding the party for future electoral successes.

He noted that to fast-paced the rebuilding process, a truth and reconciliation forum will be set up to prevent any recurrence of the past.
