Oyebanji signs N21bn 2022 supplementary budget into law

Ekiti State Governor Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has signed the 2022 supplementary budget into law.

The supplementary budget which is about 21 billion naira was sent to the House of Assembly in October by the governor.

Mr. Oyebanji thanked the Assembly members for the quick consideration of the budget saying it would allow the government to deliver on his promises to the people.

The Speaker of the House of Assembly RT Hon. Olubunmi Adelugba said that the supplementary budget demonstrates the resolve of government to place premium on accountability and transparency in expenditure.

Mrs Adelugba assured that the lawmakers would continue to accord the governor the necessary support in his quest to develop the state.
