Adeleke suspends OSIEC chairman, members

Osun State Governor Senator Ademola Adeleke has directed the immediate suspension of the Chairman of Osun Independent Electoral Commission (OSIEC), Segun Oladitan and six other members of the Commission

The suspension according to the statement issued by the secretary to the state government teslim igbalaye bothers on financial impropriety, dereliction of duty, absenteeism and abuse of office leveled against the suspended Chairman and members of the committee.

The statements hinted that the state government had set up a committee to investigate the allegations and pending the outcome of the investigation secretary of the commission should hold forth in running the affairs of the commission.
