Ekiti Catholic bishop cautions Oyebanji against electing incompetent people into political offices

Ekiti State governor Dr. Kayode Fayemi has appreciated the people of the state for giving him the opportunity to contribute to the development of the state.

The governor also appreciated God’s grace for the giant strides his administration was able to achieve in Ekiti in during his terms as governor

Fayemi gave the gratitudes during a special thanksgiving service at the ST Patrick’s Cathedral Church, in Ado Ekiti.

Admitting that a lot still needed to be done in terms of development in the state, governor Fayemi expressed optimism that the incoming administration of Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji will surpass his government’s achievements if the people support with prayers, suggestions, and guidance

Earlier in his sermon, the bishop of Ekiti Catholic diocese, most Reverend Felix Ajakaiye called on the incoming governor to surround himself with smart and competent people that are committed to human services.
