Osun Election: Supreme Court decides Adeleke’s fate today

As the supreme court decides the fate of Osun governor-elect Ademola Adeleke, there is heavy security presence at some strategic areas in the state capital to forestall breakdown of law and order.

Correspondent Tolulope Faleye who went round Osogbo the state capital reports that as security operatives patrol the state capital, residents of the state were busy doing their day-to-day activities

It would be recalled that Dotun Babayemi had challenged the candidacy of Ademola Adeleke claiming that he had the right delegates and should be declared the governorship candidate of People’s Democratic Party in the recently conducted gubernatorial election in the state.

Adeleke defeated Dotun Babayemi at the federal high court in Osogbo and appeal court in Akure

Dotun Babayemi sought redress at the Supreme Court in Abuja and the case hearing is currently ongoing as at the time of filling this report.
