Police Arrest Suspected Ekiti Bank Robber, others

Police in Ekiti State have arrested a prime suspect, Ajewole Peter aka Peter Ifaki who allegedly led a criminal gang to attack and Rob an old generation Bank in Ifaki Ekiti as well as a new generation Bank in Iyin-Ekiti on October the 2nd 2020 and on 29th of March 2022.

Police Public Relations Officer in the State, Sunday Abutu while parading the Suspects in Ado-Ekiti, said the operatives of the command arrested one Ayomide Femi aka BAFEM, Akinola Bode and Kayode Dolapo in their criminal hideouts in Ado-Ekiti for conspiracy, burglary and stealing.

The Police Spokesperson who also paraded about thirty other suspects for various crimes ranging from illegal Bunkering, Kidnapping, Cultism, Illegal possession of fire arms and Armed robbery told newsmen that the suspects will soon be charged to court once investigations are concluded in the matters.

Some of the suspects confessed to the crimes, while few others complained their innocency and explained various roles they played in the incidents they were apprehended for.
