Call Aregbesola to order, APC youths tell Buhari

The Youth wing of All Progressive Congress, APC in Osun State has called on President Muhammadu Buhari and Chairman of the Party, Senator Adam Abdullahi to caution the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola against the move to destroy the party in the State.

At a press conference addressed by the State APC youth leader, Goke Akinwemimo, the youth berated Aregbesola’s conduct as worrisome, retrogressive and least expected from a serving minister and former governor who rose to prominence with the support of the party structure.

Akinwemimo alleged the minister of interior of openly sponsoring a splinter group to work against the winning chance of the party at the just concluded governorship election in the State.

Also speaking one of the youths in the party Kehinde Ayantunji equally alleged Aregbesola to have openly declared support for opposition party and mobilised both financial, human resources to support the opposition during the election.

The APC youth wing therefore declared support for the Gboyega Famoodun led State Executive of the party , saying the interior minister is only trying to take over the party through the backdoor after failing in the party’s congresses at all levels.

It would be recalled Members of the APC splinter group known as “The Osun Progressives’ TOP had taken to the street on Tuesday calling for restructuring of the party.
