APC sets for convention to elect party’s presidential candidate

The ruling All Progressives Congress is set for its convention to elect the party’s presidential candidate

The convention begins from June 6 to 8 at the eagles square in Abuja

The apc has already approved elected delegates to take part In the presidential primary

Adaba fm’s Michael Akintunde who is in Abuja for the convention reports that delegates from the 36 states are arriving the federal capital Territory in batches

The APC, through its spokesperson, Felix Morka said the party will proceed with the convention without statutory delegates despite the pronouncement by the federal high court in Kano.

He said the party will proceed, using the elected delegates as provided in section 84(8) of the electoral act.
