League Management Company Declines Sunshine Stars Request To Return To Akure Stadium

The League Management Company (LMC) says it is declining Sunshine Stars request to get an approval to return to the Akure township stadium for its home matches for good reasons

In a letter signed by the chief operating officer of the league body Salihu Abubakar, it says Sunshine Stars never replaced the synthetic pitch as agreed last season when it gave a conditional approval last season

LMC commended the management of the team for giving the changing room a facelift reiterating that the team continue its home fixtures at the Dipo Dina stadium Ijebu Ode.
