Police to decongest detention in Ondo state over fear of covid-19
Police in Ondo state is to decongest detention centres across its various divisions in the state.
Police Public relations officer, Tee-Leo Ikoro stated this in an interview with Adaba FM.
Mr. Ikoro noted that the move is to check and prevent the spread of coronavirus among officers and criminals in detention.
The police spokesman said that personnel will soon commence routine check on places of engagement for compliance on social distancing.
