Nigerian union in South Africa demands increased protection for fellow citizens

The head, Secretariat of Nigerian Union in South Africa, Collins Mgbo, has lamented that enough is not done in protecting the interest of Nigerian citizens in South Africa.

Mgbo appealed to the Nigerian government to create a means of interchange with the leadership of Nigerian Unions in South Africa.

He was speaking on the heels of xenophobic attacks on foreign nationals in South Africa.

He also wants government to look into the idea of compensation for victims.
