Philippine boat mishap claims 3 lives

At least three people have died after a ferry in the Philippines, carrying more than 100 passengers and crew, caught fire. the ferry was said to be approaching a port city in the Southern Island of Mindanao.

City health officer of Dapitan, where the vessel was scheduled to dock, Dr Rolito Cataluna, confirmed two of the fatalities.

A third fatality was found by a search and rescue team.

However, report says several people remain missing.
