Algeria businessmen investigated for corruption
Algerian authorities have seized the passport of seven businessmen over corruption allegations.
Subsequently, the accused persons will be investigated through a competent court of law.
The arrested businessmen include an ally of president Abdelaziz Bouteflika, Ali Haddad.
Ali Haddad was caught with large sums of money while trying to cross into neighbouring Tunisia.
