Recruitment: Police speaks on commencing screening of applicants

The police service commission says it is yet to commence the screening of applicants who applied for recruitment into the Nigeria police force.

A statement by the commission’s spokesman, Mr Ikechukwu Ani denies a media report that the body has started recruiting applicants for screening.

The statement implores the prospective applicants across the country to wait for authentic information from the commission as regards the recruitment exercise.

President Muhammadu Buhari recently approved the recruitment of police constables to beef up the strength of the force across the country.
