Fayemi Lauds Peaceful Conduct Of General Elections

Ekiti state governor, Kayode Fayemi has again lauded the peaceful conduct of the just concluded elections.

In a state wide broadcast in Ado Ekiti, the governor described the polls as a watershed in the history of the people of the state.

He said election observers report have adjudged Ekiti as the most peaceful state with zero record of violence or ballot snatching throughout the electioneering process.

The governor commended Ekiti people who came out in their large numbers to cast their votes for the party of their choice.

He admonished them to rededicate themselves to a non-violent, peaceful, transparent, free and fair process in the state assembly elections coming up next Saturday.

Governor Fayemi assured the people that he would not rest on his oars until Ekiti state returns to its pride of place among the comity of states across the country and beyond.
