Buhari Secures Another Term In Office
President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC has emerged the winner of last Saturday’s presidential election.
He polled 15, 171, 847 to defeat Atiku Abubakar of the PDP who scored 11, 262, 978.
The results were declared by INEC chairman Mahmud Yakubu in the early hours of Wednesday.
With these results, Buhari will be in office as Nigeria’s president till the year 2023.
The INEC chairman, Professor Mahmud Yakubu, announced that certificate of return will be issued to Muhammadu Buhari of the APC and his running mate, Yemi Osinbajo, by 2PM today.
