INEC distributes sensitive materials to Katsina LGs

INEC in Katsina state, has started distribution of sensitive materials to the 34 local government areas in the state.

Resident Electoral Commissioner, Jibrin Zarewa said the materials are meant for Saturday’s presidential and national assembly polls.

He explained that the procedure adopted was to move the electoral materials from the Central Bank of Nigeria in Katsina today to the local government areas.

Zarewa noted that the material would be separated according to the number of wards tomorrow, while on Friday electoral officers in the local government areas would take possession of the materials for onward distribution.

He added that refresher training will be conducted for the ad-hoc staff.
