Health workers commence 3-day nation-wide protest
Members of the Joint Health Workers Union have commenced a 3-day nationwide protest to press home their demands for payment of April and May 2018 salaries.
At the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, members of the union display placards with bold inscription demanding for improved welfare of its members.
The protest is in compliance with directive from the JOHESUÂ national secretariat urging its members to down tools from 3 days between 8am and 12noon.
Abuja Teaching Hospital said the non-payment of the April and May 2018 salaries was a result of strike embarked upon by the union.
