Akeredolu To Present 2018 Budget on Friday

The 2018 fiscal year budget of Ondo State will be presented before the State House of Assembly on Friday.

The state Commissioner for Economic planning and Budget Emmanuel Igbasan stated this after the weekly state Executives Council meeting.

He said the Council has also approved the Medium Term Expenditure Framework to be presented to the State lawmakers for legislative approval.

The Framework will cover year 2018 to 2020.

While speaking on the implementation of the outgoing year budget, Igbasan said the budget has performed averagely.

The average performance of the #170 billion budget according to him, is however not unconnected with the economy situation of the country.

He explained that some states budget implementation depends largely on the inflow of revenue allocation from the Federal Government, which the dwindling economy has affected.
