Super Eagles secure WAFU Cup final ticket
Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles have qualified for the final of the 2017 West Africa Football Union (WAFU) cup of nations after defeating 10-man Benin republic 1-0 in the first semi-final at the Cape coast stadium in Ghana.
The only goal of the game was scored by Kano pillars’ Rabiu Ali in the first half.
Nigeria’s home-based super eagles will face hosts Ghana in the final of the 2017 West Africa Football Union (WAFU) cup of nations following Ghana’s 2-0 win against the Niger Republic in the second semi-final on Thursday night.
The match comes up on Sunday 24th September.
