Pandemonium in Osogbo as students protests Death of Colleague 

There is pandemonium in Osogbo as students of the Osun State University have taken to the streets to protest the alleged ritual killing of their colleague.

The irate students, who had yesterday burnt down a house close to where the deceased body was discovered, continued their demonstration this morning.

Dressed in black, the angry students marched from their school campus at Oke Baale, to the palace of Ataoja of Osogbo and made a stop at the Olaiya roundabout, where a bonfire was made.

Reports have it that the students who came out in their numbers were seeking to destroy properties and chasing people with sticks.

Commercial activities in the town been grounded, as the protesting students flanked by a police patrol vehicle make their way to state secretariat in Abere.
