PDP denies lavish spending ahead 2019 polls
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has debunked rumours making the round that it is preparing to spend billions of dollars during the 2019 polls.
The party said its popularity and integrity will work it in all the categories of the elections.
PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus explained that the party is not ready to engage in vote-buying as being speculated.
Secondus spoke at a meeting in Abuja.
The presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar, urged the military and all other security agencies not to execute orders that are unlawful.
He alleged that the APC has hired many operatives which have been trained in China and are equipped with devices to slow or fasten card readers for mischievous agenda.
The meeting was attended by PDP leaders including senate president Bukola Saraki and the speaker of the house of representatives, Yakubu Dogara.
