Floods kill dozens in India

Latest figure has shown that more than 100 people have died due to flooding caused by heavy rains last week in the Indian states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Officials said railway traffic, vehicular movement, healthcare services, schools and power supply have been disrupted in both states,

An Uttar Pradesh government report says 93 people have died as at Thursday.

The state disaster management authority informed that death toll in Bihar is 29.

Reports say the Patna city has been deluged with rain since Friday, submerging many residential areas.
