President Tinubu in Brazil for Bilateral Talks, Business Forum
President Bola Tinubu is now in Brazil for a state visit.
He was received at the Brasília Air Base by senior Brazilian officials and Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bianca Ojukwu, on Monday.
The official welcome ceremony will take place at the Planalto Palace with full military honours.
President Tinubu will hold bilateral talks with President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and witness the signing of agreements.
He will also meet leaders of Brazil’s Senate, Chamber of Deputies, and Supreme Court, and attend the Nigeria-Brazil Business Forum.
Nigeria and Brazil share long-standing diplomatic ties, with recent cooperation focused on agriculture, energy, trade, and food security.
