Shettima Unveils ICT Hub, Commissions Cally Air Planes in Calabar
Vice President Kashim Shettima has launched a new ultra-modern ICT Hub for small businesses in Calabar, the Cross River State capital.
The hub is part of President Tinubu’s plan to give Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises the tools to thrive in today’s digital economy.
Shettima also commissioned two new aircraft for the state-owned Cally Air, aimed at boosting connectivity and attracting investment to the state.
During the visit, the vice president flagged off the 8th Expanded National MSME Clinics and announced grants of 250,000 Naira each for outstanding business owners in the state.
The Vice President said the Federal Government is also funding nationwide MSME support programmes, including grants for one million nano businesses and low-interest loans for manufacturers.
Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu had pledged the state’s full support for the Tinubu administration’s economic reforms while speaking earlier at the event.
