INEC rules out online registration in Ondo guber election

The Independent National Electoral Commission has explained that there would be no online registration in the upcoming continuous voters registration exercise in Ondo state.

At a one day stakeholders meeting in Akure the national commissioner for Ondo Ogun and Ekiti professor Kunle Ajayi said training is ongoing for members of staff of the Commission regarding the CVR.

Prof Ajayi reiterated the commission’s readiness to conduct Ondo state governorship election.

Earlier in her remarks, the resident electoral commissioner mrs. Oluwatoyin Babalola appealed to the media to help spread news of the CVR.

Mrs Babalola also reiterated that multiple registrations will be invalid as she said the registration is for new entrants only.
