Yobe governor meets emirs over insecurity

Yobe state governor Mai Mala Buni held a closed door meeting with all emirs in the state today.

The meeting was at the council chambers of the government house Damaturu.

The emirs were led by the chairman, Yobe state council of emirs, Mohammadu Mohammed Idrissa.

Reports say the meeting would likely focus on partnership with the traditional rulers on security and education.

Governor Mai Mala Buni had recently declared a state of emergency on education in the state.
