Women World Cup qualifiers camping begins in Abuja

Twenty-five female volleyball players drawn from states, military, paramilitary and clubs in Nigeria have commenced camping in Abuja in preparation for women world cup qualifiers in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire.

The players are under the tutelage of a former national captain; Coach Usman Abdalah and Gloria ret.

While addressing the athletes and coaches, the president of the Nigeria volleyball federation, engineer Musa Nimrod, charged them to put up their best.

Nimrod reiterated the commitment of the present board to take the game to another level.
