Welfare of Nigerians is priority, says Gov. Fayemi

The governor of Ekiti state, Dr. Kayode Fayemi says government at all levels are trying to tackle poverty to make Nigeria a better place.

He indicated that the whole idea of social investment programs organised by the federal government is to ensure Nigerians do not fall below poverty lines.

Fayemi said the welfare of Nigerians is a priority to the government at all levels and also the main focus of the federal government.

The governor made this known while speaking with newsmen on the state of the nation.

On security, Fayemi said the government is trying all its best to curb the security challenges day by day by being tough on crimes in the country.
