Venezuela’s opposition leader backs US sanction against Maduro
Venezuela’s opposition figure Juan Guaido says the US will impose more sanctions against the country in order to bring about the collapse of president Nicolas Maduro’s government.
Many citizens have severely criticized Guaido for asking US president Donald Trump to overthrow Maduro, by activating all options, including a military invasion.
Guaido remarked had expressed support for more foreign sanctions in line with Washington’s regime change policy against Caracas.
The opposition figure claims that the sanctions are necessary to restore the country’s democracy.
However, government officials have decried Guaido’s ties with the US.
