UTME: NSCDC deploys 39 officers to Niger

The Niger command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed 39 personnel to provide security for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in different parts of the state.

State corps commandment, Phillip Ayuba made the disclosure in an interview with newsmen today in Minna, the state capital.

He said security would be in the 17 computer-based centres for the UTME kicked off today in the state.

The commandant explained that monitoring team had been constituted carefully to monitor the conduct of the exercise.

Ayuba urged prospective candidates to be law abiding, adding that the NSCDC personnel would be professional in carrying out their mandate to ensure a hitch free examination.
