US man who filmed fatal shooting of black jogger is charged with murder
A court in Georgia, US, has charged a motorist with murder for filming the shooting of an unarmed black man.
The motorist, William Bryan Jr, was also accused of a criminal attempt to commit false imprisonment.
The Georgia bureau of investigations revealed that 25 year old Ahmaud Arbery was jogging when he was shot dead during a confrontation with a father and son in Brunswick on February, the 23rd.
Mr Bryan’s 36-second video leaked online on May the 5th, generating nationwide outcry that was swiftly followed by murder charges.
Mr Bryan is expected to be booked into the Glynn county jail, where the other suspects in the murder case are also being kept as they await trial.
